El arte bizantino es visible en numerosas edificaciones de Turquía pero alcanza su punto culminante en la Iglesia de Santa Sofía en Estambul. Existen otras edificaciones de renombre como la Gran Mezquita de Divrigi o la impresionante Mezquita Azul en Estambul.
